Amelia Elson shares collages that she made during the first national lockdown.

I made these collages in May this year, in the midst of the first national lockdown. I remember feeling frustrated and powerless. I felt for sure I was living through a period of time that would go down in history books but felt completely disheartened by the hypocrisy and complete lack of clarity, both inside the government and out. Collaging was a way for me to both fill time and organise my thoughts and say what I wanted to say (especially when social media was particularly echo chamber-like back then!)
